Dr. Huang Ying is currently an Associate Professor at North Dakota State University.

Dr. Huang is an associate editor and editorial board member for five international journals, committee member for five distinguishing professional society such as ASCE Structural Condition Assessment and Rehabilitation of Buildings Committee, ASTM Fiber Optic Practices Committee, and SPIE Sensors and Smart Structures Technologies Committee, and is a reviewer for more than 40 leading international journals. 

Dr. Huang is interested in the research of smart materials, smart structures, structural health monitoring, and intelligent transportation systems.
